About Us

Kathy and I would like to introduce ourselves. Kathy has a college degree in floral design and has over 27 years of experience in this industry. Kathy and I met while we were employed at Michaels. Kathy was the floral designer and was responsible for creating all of the arrangements. I was the event coordinator responsible for scheduling and organizing all special events and instructional classes. When I wasn't busy with a project, I had the priviledge of being tutored by Kathy in the production of various forms of silk and dried arrangements.

Kathy and I often tossed around the idea of starting a business together and becoming partners. This was all in jest of course, but the idea of being our own boss did sound very appealing. One day, as Kathy drove through Davidsville, she noticed a vacant building where a floral shop was once located at over 5 years ago. She called me and told me about it and we decided to take a look. Within a week we made the decision to "go for it" and open our own business.

Kathy had wanted to open her own floral shop since college and now seemed like the perfect time to do so. The building was almost turn-key ready for us to start setting up shop. With a fresh coat of paint inside and a few minor improvements we were ready to open up on October 1st, 2008, a month and a half after our decision. It has been a whirlwind for both of us but we have enjoyed every minute of it (especially the shopping part).

Opening our own business required many hours of hard work and dedication, but it has been worth every moment of it. We are proud to be of service to the community and to make use of a beautiful building. By having two floors of showroom space, it allows us to have an open air feeling and it also provides ample space for the customer's browsing pleasure.

Kathy really enjoys creating beautiful floral arrangements, whether they are fresh cut, silk or dried. She takes pride in all that she does and with each piece she creates, one finds a unique product, crafted with personal dedication and particular attention to detail.
